In 2009 we re-designed the website for one the Great Highland B&Bs, Tanglewood House, in Ullapool in North-West Scotland. The previous site hosted by Geocities had done its job for many years but was very out-of date and difficult to update and maintain. So it was removed and a temporary site put up with more content and a more modern look during the design of the final site.

The final site went live in April 2009 and is based on the wikidot platform, although in this case the site is not a wiki but a pure website. The wikidot platform was chosen as it allows for a fully customisable design using CSS, enables embedding of external content and and web2.0 components, and it helps the client to update the site without needing extensive knowledge or lengthy training.
